Excellent food that’s always beautiful and delicious. I highly recommend the monkey brain. Service is friendly and usually fast. Ambiance is very nice.

Good food but service is hit or miss. A few times it was ok and others it was really slow. Food is fresh however and they have a good variety of rolls and appetizers.

I had dinner here tonight and it was absolutely fantastic. The food was superb and the service awesome. When I come into town again I will seek this place out again and come with a very big appetite.

Hands down the one of the best sushi places on Vancouver Island. Try the monkey brains! Clean, friendly staff and great food. One of our favorite restaurants for lunch or dinner. We made reservations for 6 adults and 2 kids and they were able to accommodate us no problem.

Love sushi and this is a great spot for it! Prices are decent, décor is very nice and comfortable seating. Very polite employees most of the time, food comes to your table(or ready for take-out) quickly too. Definitely our spot for sushi even though others are closer.

Sushi was ok. Nothing special Incredibly expensive for the location and the décor. Will go elsewhere next time.

The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated — very modern without being pretentious, and quite clean. There are many seating choices too: Tables, large booths, and sushi bar seats so you can watch the sushi chefs work. My dining companion and I ordered some maki rolls, assorted fish tempura, and prawn and sweet potato tempura. It was all very delicious. The tempura was nice and scalding hot, crunchy without being hard and dry, and it was coated in panko — it wasn’t just batter.(I really get annoyed with sushi places that merely batter the tempura — it NEEDS panko for that delicious crunch!) It came with a wonderful, light, dipping sauce with a perfect amount of sweet and salty. The maki rolls were fresh and tasty and held together well.(nothing is more annoying than loosely wrapped maki) A good sized dollop of wasabi and pile of gari accompanied the nicely presented rolls. 3 maki rolls, with 2 large orders of tempura, and 2 green teas came to about $ 30. I think that is a pretty good price for all of that — we even had some left to take home. I will definitely be coming back here. It was one of the best sushi places I’ve been to in awhile and at a fair price. :)

Sushi! This is a great place to get affordable and fresh sushi in a very nice environment! I have been either having lunch or dinner here once a week for the last couple of months! Try the Monkey Brains as an appetizer(if you like avocado, you won’t be disappointed)
