I have always thought ladysmith needed a good fish and chips place. 5 of us each ordered 2 pieces of cod and small fries for pickup. When it got here, the two pieces were average-below average in size, and were under battered and under cooked, with still raw batter on the inside When picking up fish and chips I know not to expect perfect crispy fried fish, but I can bet this batch wouldn’t have been much better fresh. The fries(also undercooked) seemed generic frozen bagged and not hand cut, the coleslaw tasted like costco’s and the tartar«sauce» was runny chopped canned pickles and onions. Oh and 2 of us had to pick hairs out of our food. Ladysmith still needs a good fish and chips place.

Fish and chips are great. They also have oysters and chips. Simple old fashioned good food. Lots on their menu.

Avoid breakfast at all costs Bread was mouldy tasting and the if the décor is any indication of quality then run. Can’t vouch for the Fish & Chips. That might be more their style. With many great choices in the area I will choose something else next time.
