April, 2010 when a fire at Campus Court Plaza destroyed several University Avenue businesses, including the brothers’ optical shop. The fire caused $ 3 million in damage and put 100 people out of work.

Unable to wait any longer for the plaza to be re-​built, Vincent, 35, opened a new store in Kitchener called Vincent Optical at 670 King St. W.

Vincent pride himselves on the vision-​care service he provide to his clients.
