Manager

Ashley Button is a Labour Doula and Placenta Specialist. Upon studying Early Childhood Education at Loyalist College, Ashley worked to support families for the next decade specializing in children with special needs. Ashley’s journey has always involved a keen interest in childbirth, resulting in her academic study of midwifery while abroad. Upon returning to Canada, Ashley continued on her journey by training as both a birth and postpartum doula and certifying as a placenta encapsulation specialist. Ashley has also volunteered in a hospital breastfeeding clinic, and has attended numerous birth and breastfeeding seminars and events.

Ashley is both passionate and committed to providing women with evidence-​based information while using a non-​judgmental approach. Her goal is to empower the woman in her ability to make informed and educated choices throughout her pregnancy and birth, thus resulting in a powerf
