Moxie’s Grill & Bar

REALLY GOOD. Would go there everyday if I can afford (which I obviously can’t). I can eat like 5 of their sticky toffee pudding if I’m not worried about my weight. I considered going there just for that but my boyfriend stopped me and kept saying that’s weird. Aside from that, got a surprise mini toffee pudding on my birthday. Went there on multiple occasions actually. Honestly, you can order anything and they won’t ever disappoint you.

The food here is really good. The menu has a great selection and every thing we’ve tried has been great. Awesome atmosphere, Nice place, good drinks. Better quality food than other similar chain places like jack astors, the keg, etc. The food is well cooked (at least what I’ve had) and service has always been fast and courteous. I’ll go back again. Not the cheapest place but worth the price.

Because we were close by we stopped in for drinks and apps.
Couldn’t find a single vegan offering so decided to order a baked potato asking for it plain ad it came with cheese and bacon. My request was denied as the «frozen» potato could not have the cheese and bacon removed from it. Well so much for being FRESH.
The standard brands of beer were only offered as well so its an overpriced Casey’s at best nothing special.

We ordered the mango chipotle chicken and the mushroom ravioli, both were quite salty and did not really suit my palate. However the atmosphere and service is nice… If I were to go again I would request for less salt on my meal.

I love this place, modern and clean décor. Great wine selection and the staff are fabulous!
The food is great too, last night I had the Sushi Cones and Free Range Chicken, they were perfect. If you like dessert then the Sticky Toffee Pudding is delicious, really I just haven’t had a bad experience here.

My husband and I went there for dinner last night, our first visit. The food was delicious. My husband really enjoyed his mustard salmon, I enjoyed my pizza and we both loved the pot stickers appetizer and the mini-​cheesecake dessert. The atmosphere was pleasant. It wasn’t too noisy (as many places around here are, especially on a Saturday night). The wait staff could not have been friendlier or more attentive. We can’t wait to go back!

Went here recently with a group of friends for dinner and we sat out on the patio. The views of Fairway Road obviously aren’t that great, but despite that it was still a nice patio.
I had the mustard dill salmon with potatoes and vegetables. I’m always worried about ordering fish from chain restaurants, but mine was actually really nicely cooked and paired well with the flavours. The sides weren’t anything special though.

Great service. Friendly staff, always smiling. Tasty food. Great place to eat. I keep coming back, especially for the beef vindaloo.

It was our first time to Moxie’s and certainly will not be our last. From the friendly host at the door to our knowledgeable, efficient server I was impressed with the hospitality.
The atmosphere is upbeat, modern and a little more relaxed and casual than I had expected. The servers wear jeans and they have a large lounge area with an oversized bar. We were sat in the dining room and we’re given a comfortable booth.
The food was just as impressive as the service. I have never had a better Calamari than the one we were served. My wife had the salmon and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had a perfectly cooked steak with a lobster butter topping that I highly recommend.
Overall a great night and good bang for your buck

Excellent job accommodating our group of 40 people. The staff were all very friendly and the food was excellent as always. Price was reasonable also.
I would definitely recommend and I will be returning.

My wife and I returned to Moxie’s for my birthday. We both agreed the calamari app was the best we’ve ever had! They don’t cut it in the normal ring that most places do. Which really helps it stay moist while it cooks. It is lightly battered and comes with a chili aioli for dipping. It also has some lightly battered jalapenos and pickled ginger. MMM I’m getting hungry again just thinking of it. I order’d there Chop top lager on tap which I was warned that it was a very hoppy beer. Unfortunately I didn’t like it at all but my server had no issues replacing it for me with a different beer. The service is top notch, the food is top notch and the menu is very reasonable. 2 beers (3 total but I wasn’t charged for the ChopTop), 1 starter, and 2 entrees $ 77 plus tip. On a side note the outdoor patio is heated for the cooler nights.

The service improved however the kitchen is still long from be like Moxies .
Steaks are poorly done, medium is well done rear is medium rear. I am sure they are working on ot and the place will be perfect enjoyable.

Great service from Allegra. Had the grilled Fish Tacos and it was perfect for lunch!

Very nice atmosphere and the food is decent (in typical chain fashion of course). The baby back ribs were delicious and the steak was not too shabby either. The calamari was more bread than anything but the dipping sauces were good. Service can be a bit slow but they’re friendly.

The great service, great food, and great bar are only surpassed by the best all-​weather (covered and heated) patio in KW! You can even catch some rays while you watch the game, because they have TVs on the patio too. A nice bonus!
For food, definitely have the pot-​stickers for starters, and you can’t beat their steaks for dinner… and good luck picking a dessert that’s NOT a great choice for an ending (my wife loves the white chocolate brownie).
It’s even a hit for a family dinner… There’s lots of choice for the rug-​rats, and my kids rave about the «volcano sunday» dessert.

Wow — what a place! The atmosphere is fantastic. The service is second to none and the food was absolutely scrumptious.
5 stars all the way. I’ll be back often.
