I placed an order with Icing Inspirations on St. Patrick’s day… they had a bunch of saving’s and a free gift with purchase. After waiting for over a month for my order to arrive; I open my package .and no free gift. So after a few unanswered emails; finally today I get a reply. Apparently I(the customer) was supposed to make a note in my order stating that I was due a free gift. The way the woman talked to me in her email was pretty atrocious as well; apparently ‘everyone’ knows you are supposed to make a note of your own free gift. like really? She was down right rude and obliviously customer service isn’t a priority with them, nor their staff. And instead of offering to send out the gift I was due when I placed my order they said that they would honor it next time I place an order. with service like that, I’m pretty sure there won’t be any second order. Update: So a different person from Icing Inspirations ended up calling me. He was a nice enough guy; but he wouldn’t let me get a word in edgewise. literally he wouldn’t really let me explain why this situation would be frustrating. He was more interested in justifying their position; which I can’t really speak to, but just that the reason the customer has to included a note is because of a limitation of their own system. He did agree to just send the item out. I appreciated that they finally agreed to just send it. This whole thing could have been avoided if when I contacted them, they just wrote back with«hey, sorry to hear that. There is xx issues with the system, we will get that mailed out to you by the end of the day!», and I would have been happily making repeat orders with them… but now they just seem like one big«ordeal», so I’ll take my dollars elsewhere.
