History

The purpose of ARC is to provide unique training to new and experienced drivers or riders of Ontario. Our advanced training courses have until now not been available in Canada. ARC was created based on advanced driving and riding techniques taught in the United Kingdom by the police and the Institute of Advanced Motorists.
Origins of ARC
I moved to Canada in 2004 from the United Kingdom. My UK licence was not accepted so I had to retake my motorcycle and AZ exams. After completing my motorcycle M1, and M2 Exit, I searched for advanced training courses that were available here in Ontario. Not racing schools or stunt schools but advanced road riding techniques — the type that keep motorcyclists safe on the road. But none existed! ARC arose from a gap in the training system. There is a need and a want for additional advanced training once you’ve received your licence.

I moved to Canada from the UK in July 2004, I started work with Erb International as a long haul driver; I then applied for the open position of driver trainer, in which I was successful. I held the position for six years and was responsible for the training of 250 drivers based in Baden. I am also involved in the hiring process, road testing, and orientation of new drivers. Licence renewals both written and road tests air brake training testing.
In July 2014 I accepted a new challenge of creating my own unique driving school that trains drivers at all levels. In several groups M, G1, G2, D, A, Z, from basic Ministry approved courses to advanced level using a system taught by the UK police to their drivers.
It is my intention to advance driver training in Ontario and raise training standards thus improving our road safety. I offer not only extensive and ground breaking driver education course’s but have introduced telemetrics to students.
