My favourite used bookstore in Kingston. The guys that owns the place is super nice and willing to recommend similar books as well as chat about your latest purchase. They usually have a good selection of standard authors available in the front section. Well organized, which is a huge plus for a used bookstore. Sometimes they end up looking like my nana’s basement which really turns me off from the whole perusing experience. They’ve also got piles/heaps/etc of old national geographics in the back, up the stairs. Fun to leaf through if you’ve got the time or pick up a few for rainy day collaging. Another fun little tid bit is that Wayfarer’s also has a small gallery in the back. Yet to see anything back there that has blown my socks off, but I dig the multi-use vibe.

I love this little trove of greatness! A must if you are ever in Kingston. And the owner has a kind heart; very nice man. The place is very retro with old pictures, posters, memorabilia with a tree house feeling too it. It’s pretty much one long hall of anything you could think of, with a little back section and a little stairway up to the«second floor/wall» full of academic books which include but doesn’t limit to biology, chemistry, quantum physics, philosophy! Bookstores like this are a dying breed! But anything this is «popular» will be gone in a hurry; especially philosphy books which a couple of my mates were looking for.
