I love Wallack’s. I’m not a pro artist, but at Wallack’s that’s okay. It’s not pretentious at all, it’s got good prices and a great selection, and any aspiring artist can find some new art supplies at an affordable price.
The store is well organized, and I suggest you start with the bargain bins near the front when you walk in — you never know what might inspire you. The staff are very helpful and can help you make a selection on supplies or answer any questions.
Sometimes classes are offered through the store, so if you are looking for art classes, this might be a place to start the search.
