We provide tax services for Individuals and families. We also provide business services as well. These include preparing small business tax returns, farm returns, and returns for self-​employed individuals. Bookkeeping, Payroll and HST filings are also services that we provide.

We have a Certified Financial Planner on staff as well and so we can help with many of your retirement and estate needs as well.

History

Established in 1998.

Stewart’s Tax Service (Kingston) was created fourteen years ago so that Russ could provide his financial planning client’s a complete service package. The business has steadily expanded over the years as more people have discovered the value of dealing with Stewart’s Tax Service. Stewart’s tax continues to provide steady advice and service to the people of Kingston and area.

Russ Stewart is in his twenty-​frst year helping families in Eastern Ontario with their financial futures.

Russ holds the professional designation of Certified Financial Planner

which is recognized internationally as the hallmark of the competent, ethical financial planner.

A lifelong resident of Kingston, Russ is married and has three grown children. His oldest son works in Kingston for Invista, his second son is a marine biologist in Hawaii, and his daughter is a Nurse Practioner

Serving the community has always been important to Russ. He was a volunteer with the Frontenac Youth Diversion Program for more than twenty years, a member of the Frontenac Youth Court Committee, and the past president of Big Brothers of Kingston.
