Market Square

Market square really does remind me of some of the piazzas and squares you can experience in Europe in the sense that it’s a place where people gather for many different occasions frequently.
The city has done a fantastic job maintaining market square for the thrice-​weekly farmers market and Sunday Antiques market. The winter sees a fantastic open skating rink, while the summer sees movies in the square, big band fridays, and several festivals and other events.
And, with the new addition of the alfresco tables and chairs, it’s also a good place for an afternoon beverage and a book, if that’s your thing during the spring and summer!
