Farm Boy

for anyone who remembers the neighborhood grocer of yesteryear. add to that some very very nice marketing and packaging and you have farm boy. walking by the butchers stand you cannot help but be impressed with the selection, and the look of the offerings. the fruit and vegetables are outstanding in presentation and freshness.
the pre cooked/​grilled section is a welcome alternative to frozen take home offering, the salad bar, again outstanding! both on a visual as well as olfactory level.
farm boy for me, makes shopping something i can get interested in again.
on a side note. i recently asked for and got 4 cuts of veal shank…(fresh…2 ½ in thick, 6 – 8 inch around) that delivered the best osso bucco ive ever tasted. and help complete a very nice valentines dinner.
