My insurance agency focuses on building strong, long-​term client relationships. I have made it my mission to ensure that our clients are well protected and better prepared for the future. My team of insurance professionals and I take the time to build insurance portfolios that meet the needs of our clients. We help individuals and business owners make sure they are taken care of in case the worst happens. We work hard to fully educate our clients and help them build appropriate portfolios for their homes or businesses. We educate our clients on their insurance and investment policies in an easy-​to-​understand method, and offer superior products and coverage to meet their needs now and in the future. Making a difference in a person’s life sometimes mean you having to go the extra mile. That’s when our clients know we really do care! Our goal is to be your trusted advisor for all your insurance and financial planning needs.

History

Established in 1945.

The Co-​operators was built by farmers to take care of themselves and their communities when traditional insurers would not meet their needs. The goal of co-​operative insurance was to work with policyholders to keep them insured in good times and bad. This same co-​operative outlook gave birth to things like credit unions and firefighting services in communities across Canada.

When Albert Savage, one of the original founders of The Co-​operators, described the company as «an acorn that will grow into one of the greatest oak trees of the co-​operative movement», he was expressing the aspirations of staff and clients.

Today, The Co-​operators has over a million clients across the country, but we always stay true to our roots and to the vision of a small group of Prairie farmers in 1945

Business Owner

I am a graduate of Loyalist College Business Admin Program and then went on to pursue my Bachelor of Commerce Degree at Carleton University. I have been in the financial planning industry for over 17 years, working in a number of different capacities; from financial advisor to a Region Marketing Specialist for Eastern Ontario; a Branch Manager for F55 in the Quinte Region and now Financial Advisor/​Owner with The Co-​operators.

I had the honor of being one of the youngest Branch Managers appointed within Freedom 55 Financial along with achieving agency builder, agency achievement and national management awards every year since I was appointment.

I am heavily involved in the community. I volunteers my time to many community boards and committees, as well as coaching a number of kids’ sports teams. My business philosophy is one of honesty, integrity and respect for our client and their business.
