History
Established in 1993.
Sheep arrived on this former dairy farm in 1993 and the lamb meat has always been processed in Kelowna and sold at the farm. In 2007 – 2011 Sue and her family built an abattoir/butcher shop on the farm, which became provincially licensed in November 2011.
Meet the Manager
Sue H.
Manager
Sue thought of sheep when she first saw the fertile pastures of this former dairy farm in 1988. After purchasing it, she built fencing and a hilltop hay/lambing shed and started the sheep flock in 1993, gradually expanding her customer base for lamb, wool and sheepskins. With essential help from her brother Mark and nephew Jonathan, she designed and built the abattoir/meat shop in 2007 – 2011. Sue manages the farm and meat shop, cuts and wraps the lamb, and makes sausage.
