There’s way too much to say so I’ll just make a list
— My husband and I have been here for over a week and are in our 3^rd room due to poor help from the front desk. All rooms have been too loud and after many many complaints from us having a nightmare of a stay, we are not getting anything in return and haven’t gotten a room upgrade after we’ve been told we will get one but then got told we can’t have the upgrade due to the duration of our stay. And let me not forget that 10 days prior to checking in we specifically asked for a quiet room on the top floor due to a medical condition, but did not get any of what was asked for.
— We’ve gone from staying right under the work shop (and got treated like we’re crazy when we got woken up at 6:30 am from loud banging and crashes that lasted till noon) and the staff kept beating around the bush trying to tell us nobody is up there when we heard all of the noises for hours every day.
— We then got moved to the room right across the hall beside the elevator & ice machine. Also a very disrespectful family of 5 were staying right above us and made constant noise all day and were stomping around until midnight. Plus there were many loud people outside, so of course we called the front desk to let them know about all the noise that went on past quiet time and the staff did barely anything. All they would ever say is «I’ll go have a listen» just to take their time and barely do anything about the noise.
— And now yesterday, we’ve filed another complaint and a manager said we would get a room upgrade, but then changed her mind and put us right beside the suit in one of the rooms that is the exact same as the other 2 we’ve been in. Small with 2 «queen» beds, which is located on the far left side of the building right by the highway intersection! So we got denied for a room upgrade after we’ve been told we’ll get one and now we’re in our third room which is just as noisy as the last two.
— Also, we’ve been failed to be told that we get a discount at the restaurant right beside the hotel, not once been told about it both times we’ve been here. (Only heard after hearing someone else get told at the front desk). Also, the staff has failed to offer to us any kind of gift vouchers or a complimentary meal.
All in all we’ve filed so many grievences, all of which were quite pertinent issues, and have had nothing done about any of these issues. We wouldn’t complain if something has been done. The staff has done nothing good for us to make us feel better about this stay and hasn’t changed anything about any of these issues. This hotel may meet the most basic of expectations but their price range does not dictate «basic». We will be speaking to the general manager for the second time, hopeing these issues will be rectified and will hopefully be able to upgrade this review although nothing changes this past week.
I know I am missing a number of issues, but there are way too many to remember all at once.
Also I don’t want to forget to mention that this is our second broken bed we’ve had to sleep on and the staff refuses to do anything about it and refuses to help us any further.

They have great rates for anyone staying because they have family in the hospital. The staff is very friendly. When we changed our minds about driving home after checking out, because the weather turned ugly, they gladly gave us the same room back. There are super cute rubber duckies in the bathroom you are free to take home (we offered to buy one). They will print anything you need free of charge (I had them print 3 articles, total 12 pages, for my Dad regarding his condition) My only negative is that they didn’t tell us about the discount at the adjoining restaurant. We only found out when we mentioned we were staying there, to the wait staff, during our third meal.
Oh yes, they also accept pets and you are free to leave them in your room for short periods of time –like to go eat– as long as they are gentle, quiet and well behaved or kenneled. Once, several years ago they kept my Pomeranian at the desk with them while I went out (she was super cute and everyone wanted to spend time with her)

Not once have i gotten a hotel room with adequate convenient power outlets. I swear they are all in on it. It gives them some sort of sick messed up feeling of satisfaction knowing im crawling around unplugging lamps and alarm clocks just to charge my phone…
Other then that this place is great. The staff are friendly as frickk

One of the worst motels I’ve stayed at…
As soon as I pulled up I had a feeling it wouldn’t be good.
From the rooms smelling foul to the AC not working and having to change rooms as Sarah said you hear constant doors slamming and people above in the hallways.
Don’t expect to sleep much here.
Rooms are old and need to be renovated.
Won’t be back I’ll stick to Super 8 or Holiday Inn which is same price. I feel robbed paying $ 100+ per night for this place…

Stayed here for one night in June 2015. I don’t know why, but I really didn’t like the place. The room was big, but there was a lot of noise from the big road outside, and we could easily hear when the other guests moved around upstairs, or turned on the water/​flushed the toilet (very noisy). The cleaning could have been better — there were another guests hair on the blowdryer and gravel on the carpet.
The room had a fridge, a tv and an iron but no safe. The inn has free wifi, but it didn’t work half of the time. I really want a safe in my room, and not in the lobby when I travel. If I ever go back to Kelowna, I will find another place to stay.

I’ve stayed here for work several times over the past year. Finally got around to writing a review. The Accent Inn has ways been a great hotel. The staff has always been friendly and inviting. The rooms are clean and I’ve always had a good experience there. He only small issue is that the door opens up to the outside so you do get noise from the outside. Being a light sleeper I just have earbuds.
They had a hot tub that they room out and now only have a fitness facility.
There are a few amenities nearby. No room service available. You have to eat out if you want food. But they do have nice Kitchener units that are clean.
Overall it’s a good economy hotel that’s always clean and enjoyable. I’ve stayed in hotels that were not clean not the Accent.
And always take the pens LOL. They are amazing

* a bit noisy during summer season cause of kids. We were usually up by 9am even though we didn’t want to be up early. I recommend booking a room on the 2^nd floor. First floor/​ground level you can hear kids. Cars … Traffic.
Overall– very happy with the staff and price.

Stayed here two nights as I was attending the Datsun Matsuri and Knox Mountain Hill Climb on the May long weekend. Rooms were modern and very clean. Beds were comfortable. There was ample parking and we were able to park within sight of our room, which was nice. Wifi was free.
It was a reasonable, reliable, clean place to stay.

We’ve been staying here since 2006 when we’ve made our annual trip down to Kelowna. The owners have given the outside of the hotel a more contemporary paint job and the rest of the staff are courteous and extremely helpful. They gave us numerous suggestions on where to find a good U-​pick cherry farm and my son was so excited!
Accent Inns is also a great location (most of the wineries, restaurants and farms we visited are about 10 to 20 minutes away) if you want to go wandering about. Also, since there’s a Starbucks and ABC restaurant right in front of the hotel (and closest to Harvey Avenue), the noise from the traffic (if any) at night is minimal.
The staff also takes your requests into consideration (we asked when we were booking a room online whether we could get a room with a kitchenette and microwave on the top floor away from the ice machine). We had a great experience and will be back next year!

Accent Inns is a family-​owned business, and according to the staff we spoke with, the owners are keen to ensure that their employees and guests are happy. We’ve been staying here since 2006 whenever we visit Kelowna. Get a kitchenette room for $ 10 a night extra if you want to heat up leftovers or store wine/​fruit/​cheese in the fridge. The pool is small but a great way to cool off when the sun clears the trees.

Great value! Really enjoyed my stay here. The room was clean, the bed was comfy, staff were friendly. Would definitely recommend to others, and will be back.
