Restaurant and bar are terrible. Asked for a Martini. Bar didn’t know what that was. Had to describe it. They didn’t have any dry vermouth. Then ordered a hamburger. Lousy hamburger with a wilted salad served by a surly waiter that slapped the food down in front of me and walked away without asking me if I needed anything. Gee like maybe some catsup and napkins?
I can see this at a two star hotel, but at a very expensive Holiday Inn? Give me a break.

Excellent hotel. Quiet, close to essentials, free wifi, clean. A really nice place to stay and a good restaurant. We stayed here on the way to the Rockies and then again on the way back. Both times were very good.

Booked the king suite for a family of four and the room was pretty spacious and clean. The sofa bed was comfortable and the kids had no complaints. Locations is really great because this hotel is walking distance from a library, grocery store, YMCA facility and several fast food and Asian food eateries. I only wish they had a breakfast service as I was not too impressed by the on site independent restaurant.

Not sure why the other review are 3 – 4 stars. I didn’t find anything wrong with the hotel. As the other reviews said, the hotel is close to a river, parks, mall, grocery store and much more. There is a library right in front if the hotel.
I stayed there with my family. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
Note that for parking, you need to put a paper on the dashboard.

This hotel is fairly new and well maintained. We really didn’t spend much time in the room, but it got the job done. The beds were comfortable, and you can choose between a firm or soft pillow. That’s a nice touch! There was plenty of parking, a pool, and a bar attached to the hotel. Free parking as well.
The highlight for me was the really nice shampoo and conditioner! It was a great smelling bath and body works product, and I took some with me. It was fantastic.

Lovely hotel, but a little hard to find. Great check-​in. Plenty of space in bathroom for stuff. Free parking. Spacious room, fridge and micro.

Downtown, Vancouver, Canada
Outstanding hotel — great service, and rooms are spacious and extremely well kept. The pool and hot tub was great and a nice end to a long day of travel. White Spot has a bar attached to the open and spacious lobby, and restaurant attached in the back. Fantastic — I’ll be staying there again! The only concern was that the construction out front made it difficult to get into — but not a dealbreaker.

I stayed here with my partner the last week in June. It is a nice place, very new and clean.
The staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was plentiful. Towels were fluffy.
The beds and pillows are the stars of the show though. They have soft and firm to choose from and I always have a good nights sleep.
I wish I had known they had a pool before I went, it looked very inviting in the kamloops heat.
The hotel is located next to a mall, supermarket, and a star box and panago are close by. It also has a whitespot attached.
Most of Kamloops hotels are really old and need a good overhaul, it’s nice to stay in something clean and modern.
