DON’T GOHERE!!! The restaurant was half empty with easily 4 – 5 empty tables that we can see from the main entrance alone. I informed the lady who greeted us we were 14 in our group. She went away & came back & refused to seat us. I told her we can sit at different tables, we don’t have to be together but she continued to tell us we have to go somewhere else. I’ve never experienced such racism in Canada before but I guess that’s what you get in a small red neck town of Jordan. Don’t come here!!!

It looked like a charming eatery in a charming hamlet. Unfortunately we were disappointed. We waited a long time for our food and the waitress kept coming out and apologizing: «sorry, we have no tourtière… Sorry there is a problem in the kitchen and we can’t make any more french fries… we will have French fries in about 20 minutes… They just put the fries in now if you want to wait about 10 more minutes…» $ 30 and an hour and a half later we left and will probably never go back. I had a pulled pork sandwich with salad and raspberry vinaigrette. They deducted $ 2 for the missing fries. The pork was too salty but the salad was good. My friend had a smoked salmon croissant with salad and balsamic dressing. We each had a coffee. The staff were very pleasant but it really wasn’t worth the price.

Love the food here and as a teenager I love that the prices are totally inexpensive for a nice Jordan/Niagara place. Favourites here indlude smoked salmon and a crab on croissant dish. Nice portions and well thought-out food. Me and my friends like to drive here during the summer and go for fudge across the street after. The patio is picturesque and service has always been great.

The service is good, but the food was… just ok. We had the clam chowder, Asian grilled pear sandwich with Brie and the lobster and crab salad on a croissant. You know when something sounds fantastic in your head… But then just doesn’t live up to it with that first bite? The food was all decent, but not fantastic. My one complaint was the fake crab in the lobster and crab salad… Not cool. Best part was the Vidal grape juice and the elderflower soda which we mixed together to make an awesome drink.
