Eating from a wood-fired oven is one of life’s greatest pleasures. Few things compare with the experience of watching the flames heat the oven dome and eating some of the world’s best pizza.
We fire up our gourmet ovens with hard woods like oak, cherry, apple and maple wood in screaming oven temperatures between 800 — 900 degree Fahrenheit. Each pizza pie is cooked in fewer than 90 seconds, while cooking in full view and served fresh immediately after each order.
The combination of our wood fired ovens and local organic ingredients truly creates a unique experience and amazing food. Imagine fresh dough, tangy sauces, mouth-watering cheeses, crisp vegetables, savory meats and two authentic Forno Bravo ovens.
We use only the freshest and highest quality natural ingredients and buy direct from local farms whenever possible. All of these things combine to create the most delicious pizza you’ll ever experience.

Near the corner of one of Barrie’s busiest intersections, Luke Robitaille rolls out the fresh dough he buys from a local bakery into a thin crust and creates made-to-order pizzas in minutes.
The thin crust, topped with freshly topped vegetables and shredded mozzarella cooks just a few feet away in an outdoor oven a stone’s throw from one of Barrie’s busiest intersections at Mapleview Drive and Essa Road.
Wood-fired Pizza is the newest on Barrie’s refreshment truck roster.
«It’s a busy corner. There are 40,000 vehicles that come by every day,» said Robitaille, who added Outdoor Pizza Ovens has been importing wood-fired appliances from California and selling them to refreshment trucks across Canada.
«You can cook anything in them — roasts, chickens, stakes, bread, kabobs,» he said, in addition to the pizza, which he began baking up in south Barrie July 9.
«I’m still researching the perfect pizza. It’s a learning experience.»
