Started out a little slow, kinda short handed on servers. Food on the other hand was great. I had the burger with a side poutine. Wife has the southwestern wrap. Both tasted good. Poutine was a bit on the small side for a side order but still good. Wrap had some heat but not over powering. We also had dessert. We had the Murphy cake. It was fantastic. Well worth checking out.

Quaint English styled pub that proudly serves cask ale. My wife and I were on a 3-day Real Ale expedition through Michigan and Ontario and were quite pleased at out stop for supper and a few pints to bring our final night abroad to a close. Several choices of European beer and some local ON selections. I felt obligated to have bangers and mash, whilst my wife deemed it equally appropriate to have fish & chips. We had great soup, and both enjoyed sharing my bangers plate. The fish and chips were on the soggy side and not hot enough for her. A little bit of a let-down, luckily my meal was plenty of food to split and her fish turned into fish tacos the next evening when we arrived home. We were pleased with the service and fastly made a few adequateness amongst the patrons. I hope to return to The King Edward, a expect to pleasantly served hand pulled ale and enjoy my meal once again.

A simple country restaurant in an old building that serves classic English comfort food… oh and crazy good wings. Food: Very good, I had the fish & chips, and my brother had a lamb burger, would have been nice if the fries weren’t frozen. Several craft brew selections there, including my favorite Smash bomb from Flying Monkey Breweries. Service: Friendly, helpful, and attentive. Atmosphere: Pub like accented by the features of a period building. Note: *** Chicken wings are great, they have a ton of flavors from honey to super hot. If you’re in the mood for a super hot challenge then try the«Chef’s Revenge» wings, 6 of the hottest things I’ve ever eaten. There good value for the money since you’ll be hiccuping for hours with a burning mouth… good times! A cute little place outside of lunch, I’d definitely go back.
