Downhill recently, taste seems to be getting weaker over time. They might just be using less and trying to make more profit… not sure, but the last few times haven’t been good. One of the two times I got home to discover I had onions in my rice. The other time is was so weak that it tasted bland. I get that $ 10 isn’t much these days, but If I’m paying $ 10 for rice, a few pieces of chicken and sauce… I want it to taste like something. Honestly can’t see trying again seeing that these places have popped up on every corner in Hamilton… there soon might be more Shwarma places in Hamilton than Tim Hortons. Better choices over on Upper James…

Ordered the chicken and rice when I visited today with my girlfriend. She ordered the chicken shawarma fries. When ordering, they didn’t ask me if I wanted onions or garlic sauce on my order, they just put it on anyway. I didn’t want either on my order, and they were upset they had to make it again. On the second one, the worker proceeded to put on garlic sauce AGAIN. I took it the second time because I didn’t have time to wait. About half way through it, I felt sick and threw it out, and as I put it in the garbage, a woman behind the counter yelled something in a different language, which scared the crap or of me. Wouldn’t go back here

Stopped by based on the good reviews but if this is the best Shawarma in Hamilton, Hamilton isn’t the place for shawarma. There isn’t a spit so the meat is cooked on a flat top and then put into a warmer. The chicken I had looked like ground chicken as it was in such small pieces. The pita’s are quite small and as they don’t have a sandwich press, they are cold when you get them. Nothing to write home about.

As other posters have said, best shwarma in town. Warning, avoid this place unless you want a taste of heaven. I usually get the chicken and rice combo which comes with a side of a drink and a salad or an extra pita bread. Extra white sauce on top. You have to try this place.

Best shawarma ever. The garlic white sauce they use is the best sauce I’ve ever tasted. I buy a bottle to take home with me. Recently tried the new menu item, chicken fries. It’s like shawarma poutine, I love it. We drive from about 40 mins away just to eat here. Highly recommended.

Safin Grill is the only place I go to for a shawarma. The meals are consistently flavoured, the facility is always clean and the staff are very friendly. The prices are unbeatable for the quality. I would recommend Safin Grill in a heartbeat

Awesome shwarma — but I usually go for the chicken and rice combo. Tastes great, and good value for your money.

My sister always raves about this place. So, I asked to bring something the next time she goes. She ordered«Rice & Chicken». It comes with 2 small pita’s as well. As soon as I tasted it, I fell in love. I’m not sure if it’s healthy for you, but the taste was amazing. The rice was pretty creamy with their special sauce and chicken was cooked very well. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Hamilton. I do hope they open another location in the city.
