History

Established in 2013.

Pooch Perfect’s owner and operator Mark McCormack has a passion for animal behaviour. He completed his Masters degree in animal behaviour in 2003 and began working with feral and rescue dogs in Nunavut in 2008. Mark established Pooch Perfect to provide state-​of-​the-​art services to dog lovers in the Hamilton, Burlington, Oakville and Mississauga areas in 2013 and has been a volunteer for the Mississauga Humane Society since.

Mark has a Masters degree in animal behaviour and has trained chipmunks, African cichlids, crayfish, sparrows and finches. He also spent several years observing, rescuing and rehabilitating feral dogs in Nunavut. More recently he has trained and certified at Canine Academy with renowned gun-​dog trainer and Professor Emeritus of Ontario Veterinary College, Ed Bailey and Canadian scent-​detection champion, Teresa Lewin. Mark has experience in obedience training, behavioural rehabliitation, scent-​detection, canine freestyle, agility and rally obedience.
