Business Owner

Martine’s extensive practical knowledge of small business accounting and tax issues has made her a trusted business advisor for many small business owners in the Hamilton area. For 22 years, she and her staff have been dedicated to providing Padgett clientele with exceptional service and value. In recognition, Martine was voted Favourite Accountant in the Hamilton Spectator’s Reader Choice Awards.

Martine graduated from Mohawk College with honours, where she earned a diploma in Business Administration. She later obtained her designation as a Registered Professional Accountant (RPA) from The Society of Professional Accountants of Canada. Prior to starting Padgett, Martine held senior accounting positions in companies such as Hewlett Packard & Sound Air Corporation.

Something that no one knows about Martine… She rides a Triumph Speedmaster motorcycle & plays ice hockey.

If Martine wasn’t doing what she’s doing now… She would be doing mission work in third world countries.
