Amazing food and great service. Excellent selection of food very fresh and tasty. We went with a group and loved it! I would recommend this restaurant!!!

This place was great. Service was good– she was very attentive and friendly. I had the Goan prawns — amazing curry. So different. I asked for it to be hot instead of insanely hot and it was perfection. It’s a small banquet hall that’s been converted to a restaurant so it’s not a cozy atmosphere but it has seriously awesome Indian cuisine.

Wow~~~ The environment is so great, even it’s a little bit far from us, but the dishes are amazing.
Fei and Rahul bought the groupon online, that’s the biggest reason.
Butter chicken and lamb curry with garlic naan are so tasty.
Free snacks are yummy too.

I have been to all the Indian restaurants in Hamilton and Burlington and this «Diamond in the rough» is by far the best place to come for Tandoori chicken, Butter chicken, and to be quite frank every single item I tried was absolutely excellent comparing it to the other local Indian restaurants.(which are also good but nothing compares to Narula’s quality).
If you appreciate food that’s authentic and cooked to perfection like myself and you also appreciate owners that take pride in their business you will want to taste the food at this real Indian resturaunt. Try Narula’s for yourself you most certainly will not be disappointed.

I went to this place last week and was eager to try a different Indian food experience in Hamilton. If you’re looking for atmosphere that’s cozy warm and inviting and will add to the experience of the meal… look away! This place has got to be one of the oddest dining experiences I’ve had. It’s like you’re walking in on a bright daytime wedding reception with the room being open, large and banquet style. Except the area that they are serving people in is sectioned off with tables squished together closely… and the other half of the room is the big round white linen covered banquet tables. interesting use of space! It was uncomfortable enough upon being seated that we contemplated going to an alternative restaurant. Instead, we requested to be seated in the other half of the room at one of the many large round banquet tables. We decided to stick it out and explore this new adventure.
My mother and son were highly distracted by the computer screen playing Indian TV shows humming in the background, but I found it added to this interesting scene we found ourselves in. The waitstaff themselves were excellent — attentive and accommodating and the food was all really good! One thing we all noticed was the richness of the dishes, ie… the meal sat heavy in our stomachs. perhaps they cook with more gee than we are used to? The flavour was fantastic nonetheless.
Would I go there again to dine? Likely not, just because the atmosphere is important to me for a dine in experience. However I might order take out if I was in the area.
