Despite the fact Megabus advertises the Hamilton hub as a new service, the Hamilton services have always been occasionally served by Megabus vehicles. The only difference between then and now is that I can take advantage of the $ 1 specials from Kitchener/Waterloo. However, despite the advertising of free wi-fi, my bus did not have any sort of that. There were power outlets available, but it wasn’t much use as I didn’t had technology that needed charging. The seats were also quite uncomfortable, very hard for a coach bus. I understand I probably got what I paid for, though the seats are just a minor thing that should be a necessity for any long-hauls despite whatever price. I’ll probably be sending an email to Megabus/Coach Canada to see if all buses are supposed to be equipped with wi-fi in the future since the service did recently start, and they probably haven’t had time to equip all the buses with wi-fi yet.
