Escarpment Moving and delivery is a full-​service, professional household moving company. Our team of movers are incredibly skilled, friendly, uniformed and knowledgeable.

We realize and respect that there are many choices within the moving industry which is why we focus on customer service and job execution.

All trucks are fully equipped with free moving blankets, free wardrobes, free floor runners and all the necessary straps, dollies and equipment for safe home moving.

We also provide free in-​home estimates, with both flat rate options as well as hourly rate options with maximum times as well.

History

Established in 2002.

Escarpment Moving & Delivery has been in business for a decade now. Catering to primarily Hamiilton, Burlington, Oakville, Ancaster, Grimsby, and Milton we have grown rapidly with an excellent rate of repeat and referral business. (THANK-​YOU!)

We started off with 1 truck 10 years ago delivering furniture for a furniture store in Oakville. Due to the quality of service and referral, we branched out to house moving and we have flourished since then.

We currently provide delivery service for several area furniture stores as well as many other contract clients in retail. We are also performing an average 5 – 8 house moves weekly as well with incredible feedback.

We hope to continue to grow over the next decade with your help!

Mike K.

Business Owner

Mike started this company in recognition of a void in the industry, after working throughout college with several different moving companies. Larger companies charged ridiculous rates to support their huge overheads and they were too far removed from the actual job execution. Corporate insurance contracts were relied on to take care of whatever went wrong during the move alleviating any accountability within the crews performing the moves.

Small companies executed the jobs reasonably well, charged more accordingly, but couldn’t afford the time to pay attention to customer service as well as the larger companies.

With a clever business model, Mike has been able to establish Escarpment Moving within the moving field as a strong, reliable cost-​effective company. He has combined the customer service of the larger companies with the price-​point and accountability of the smaller companies, lending to an overall better and more comfortable move your move day.
