I went after my ex’s work’s christmas party in ’08 and from what i remember, the people were open(very open some of them lol) and friendly. it was packed like Sam mentioned but no where near as insane as the London Tap House can be. You can barely walk anywhere in there unless you walk behind the staff and not some of the rude people who sometimes go there(who think they don’t have to give other people space to walk: S) I know I was a bit buzzed from the party so I don’t remember how the drink I did get there tasted lol but I do remember the bartender being very nice when I did get his attention. The music was pretty mainstream poppy too but the mix overall was nice to dance to with EVERYBODY lol that’s the thing about gay bars. you never just dance with who you came with. My ex and his co-workers who invited us along for drag king night had a nice group of people dancing around and with us :). You definitely have to be comfortable with yourself and others sexuality if you go here though. It’s more fun that way :) there was this gorgeous«girl» sitting with«her» friend/boyfriend at the tables beside the dancefloor. i only realized«she» was a guy until they stood up to walk towards the bar and the hips and a tell-tale bulge gave«her» away. absolute sweetheart though, kept smiling and winked at me lol. as long as you’re accepting, you’ll have fun.

Always way too packed, and crammed with sweaty half-naked men(the times I’ve been there, anyway). The dance floor requires you to be way too close to your fellow dancers, and because it’s so packed it’s usually impossible to get a bartenders attention. The music is alright, but tends towards mainstream pop hits. Also, this is not a good gay bar to take any straight friends to unless they are very very comfortable with their own and others sexuality. It’s a bit over the top at times. Definitely not worth the rather expensive cover most of the time.
