History
Established in 1999.
I have been DJaying since 1999 and was trained by who I consider to be one of the most professional DJays in the area — Don Lovering from Ruby Entertainment. Donny stopped DJaying for a time to focus on opening a store and I went off on my own.
I have performed at hundreds of weddings, corporate events, fundraisers, school dances, and private parties over the past 16 years and have enjoyed them all. In 2012 I began focussing heavily on party planning, hosting, and MC duties to bring my business to the next level.
Having a professional MC at your event can make it really stand out, and it relieves a guest from the duty allowing them to just enjoy the evening. We never charge extra for MC services. I just see it as part of what makes Cool Sounds unique!

Howard R.
Business Owner
Howard has been DJaying since 1999. He has a background in business management having managed small box and big box retail before moving on to managing the North American arm of an international software company.
Throughout his time in business he has maintained a DJ company and performs 20 — 40 events per year.
In 2014 Howard left the software company and entered politics seeking the Federal Liberal Nomination in the newly formed riding of Hamilton-West, Ancaster, Dundas where his campaign was received well by both the membership and his fellow running mates. He was ultimately unsuccessful in achieving the party nomination in the six way race.
After the race he was hired to work with a City Councillor where he works full time today.
