Established in 2013.

I started Walk4. Me when I moved to Halifax in Spring of ’13 in hopes of constructing a business where I could also raise money for Dogs in need. So I researched some great animal rescues and became involved as a volunteer with Halifax’s Cool Dog Rescue and structured my business around donating regularly to them and volunteering with my expertise. I love spending my days with animals and they seem to feel the same about me! I love all things that I share our planet with and my goal is to immerse myself in the things I love and make a better life for dogs that don’t have a fair chance

Pleasure to meet you! I’m Adele, Mother of 3 furry babies, and one not so furry little boy. I was born an animal lover, and have taken it upon myself to better the lives of as many creatures as I can. I have rescued many life forms in my time. Living in the country brought about my affinity for all the little animals that we so reluctantly share our planet with. After moving to New York City, I felt a bit of a disconnection with the land and its world of creatures. I found myself at a local dog shelter, the ‘Sean Casey Animal Shelter’ in Brooklyn. There, I would spend my mommy breaks with the most appreciative and deserving dogs. I would walk them around prospect park and bask in the happiness of them getting to be a dog and letting loose. I found this to be my passion. I couldn’t think of a better way to spend my day than on the other end of a leash of an animal getting sheer enjoyment out of being in their natural habitat. So here I am, following my dream and sharing it with you!
