My decision to purchase home and auto insurance was based on the fact that as a Dalhousie Alumni I received a discount off my insurance, and by purchasing house and auto insurance together, I would save an extra 5% off my car insurance. Since that time, I have been greatly questioning this decision. It seems I get a call from Meloche nearly every week. They keep calling me over and over for the same things. There have been 3 separate incidents where they continued to call and leave messages after I had already spoke with them and advised them accordingly, but for whatever reason the communications kept getting lost. Overall, I’ve been quite dissatisfied with Meloche’s level of customer service and don’t intend to renew my insurance with them once it is up.
