CAUTION USING GPS: You must put in TIMBERLEA (a suburb of HALIFAX) to find this motel when using your GPS. If you search in HALIFAX you will be taken to another 1791 St. Margarets Bay Road location, one with no buildings and only trees. The motel people said they have heard about this problem often, but it never gets fixed. And… there is another Stardust Motel a few more miles out of HALIFAX, so do not be confused.

The Stardust Motel is a small motel located in Timberlea which is about 15 kms outside of Halifax. Timberlea is a small area but has many of your popular ‘must-​haves’. Across from this hotel is a drug store, Tim Hortons and a gas station. Just up the road about a km is a Pizza shop and another convenience store. Also, the motel is just across from the exit leading to the 103 highway.
The cost of a room is about $ 75, which is 1⁄3 the price of your average motel in the Halifax area. The rooms are nicely cleaned and decorated and I was quite impressed with the service. The queen sized bed was firm and comfortable and the room included a full sized fridge, and microwave. No dishes, cutlery, or pots and pans were included in the room.
I would definitely stay at the Stardust Motel again.
