Awesome customer service. We went to 2 other locations that were high end in doctor’s offices and were hardly acknowledged. The gentleman here was on the ball and made us feel important while trying to juggle 2 other customers at the same time. Awesome job.

I had a great experience at this Pearle Vision location! Came in on a whim not really thinking I’d find anything, but upon looking around I found a bunch of frames that I instantly really liked. But real reason this place was so great was the customer service. Will greeted me warmly and let me look around for a while on my own before checking up on me, which I much prefer to overly eager staff. Once I had picked out the frames I wanted, he sat down with me and broke down the prices, writing out my different options without ever putting on the pressure to buy them right away. He happily let me leave the store to think it over, and once I had I came back and he took care of everything. It didn’t take long at all, and he even upgraded the lenses for me! Will went above and beyond in terms of the service I received, and his cheerful demeanour made me feel totally at ease the entire time — picking out new glasses can be stressful! The store is nice too, it’s tidy and well laid out and I thought they had a great selection of frames. Highly recommend!

I needed to get my glasses adjusted and they refused my service just because I bought them online. I even offered to pay a service fee but I was refused. Also the lady on the phone was really rude and hung up on me before I was finished talking. If you are looking to stop in somewhere and get an quick adjustment to fix your glasses these people are not helpful.

I’ve been going here for a few years and have been pretty happy with it. True, they don’t have a ton of overly wacky frames, but if you’re looking for good quality frames with understated sophistication, this is your place. They have a pretty sweet 2 for 1 deal sometimes too that includes their wicked selection of sunglasses. The lady who works there even remembered me my name after not being in there for 2 years– pretty impressive in my books!

I popped into Pearle Vision because I’ve been shopping around for a new set of frames. Recent encounters suggest that my head/face shape repels all fashionable lenses, as I’ve had quite a time finding that perfect pair. Looking around in Pearle, its obvious that they have a lot to choose from. There were many styles that I loved, and would’ve gladly purchased, had I found a fit for this peanut. Both designer and more affordable frames are displayed in a neat and orderly fashion. Service was friendly, as the woman seemed more than eager to help me find something ideal. I left without any luck, but I’d still suggest others go to Pearle for a peek. They’ve got hip styles(Hip, but not trendy), as well as all the classics.

This eyeglass shop is tucked away in the back of the little mall on Spring Garden. They stock mostly big names — Vogue, Bvlgari, Dolce & Gabana, Prada, etc. — and stick to mainstream styles. That’s not to say some of these aren’t hip and cute; they are, it’s just that I wear pretty silly glasses and Pearle Vision is not in that business. For those who are into what they’re selling you can find frequent 50% off sales on frames and lenses, worth watching for.

Thanks to Ayla for reminding me of this stop on the great frame hunt of 2010. I almost forgot about this place, but for good reason, it’s just not a great shop. The lenses here are pretty boring, if we’re being honest. Nice enough, but definitely not for those who are looking to make a statement with their frames. The location is also pretty bad, I figure if you’re going to be tucked away, you better offer something pretty incredible for finding you. Pearle vision doesn’t really offer that. They did have a nice sale going on when we were there, but vogue optical offers the buy one get one free offer. Two pairs of lenses for the price of one sounds better than one pair on sale. I don’t know, we were in and out of this place pretty quickly and it didn’t leave much of an impression. The staff were pretty nice, but I we weren’t impressed with the selection. When I(inevitably) am forced into glasses I don’t think I’ll be stopping back here.
