Hard to pick this best food in herring cove and this just has to be my favourite this tiny diner is an amazing place! Price is fair and food can enter a contest! Pizza, Eggrolls, Mozzarella Sticks And more are so good to go in your tummy and right beside it is this friendly store Kwik Way that has plenty of snacks and more to choose from This is phenomenal for the small community to come around this restaurant We even got to see the owner face to face Mishou Saloud and he outdone himself he even has another place down by Crystal Cresent Beach Around the sambro area Well Now We’re Cookin I’m speechless come on down this place will make your taste buds be amazed

I grew up a five minute walk from this place. I moved away from the area about 15 years ago. Until last week, I haven’t even been back to visit.
I walked into Now We’re Cookin’ and the owner, Mike, looked up from the cash and said ‘Hey Man! Great to see you! What has it been? About 15 years?!“
You can’t imagine how fantastic that felt.
This really is one special place. The food is really good and the customer service is through the roof!

With tables to seat just 18 guests, there was just one table free when we showed up at 12:30 on a Saturday afternoon. First, this place is clean. Very, very clean. It’s nothing fancy, but the food more than makes up for it. I ordered the chicken shwarma plate, the hubs ordered the double Bubba burger and fries, and the kidlet had a slice and a pop. We walked up to the counter and placed our order, which took about 15 minutes to prepare. We decided to take our lunch to go.
The smell of the food in the car was amazing. When we got home, we couldn’t wait to dig in. The chicken shwarma plate had a generous helping of rice and chicken, homemade hummus, and tabouli along with a very fresh whole wheat pita. The slice was enough for about three meals for my son, and the pizza was very tasty. The Bubba burger was by all reports delicious and very generously sized.
If you’re ever out in the area, it’s worth a stop for sure.

This place rocks, I can’t believe someone hasn’t reviewed this place yet! Homemade Donair egg rolls are to die for. Had the scallops and chips, generous portion of scallops. You seriously have to try this place. Worth the trip to Herring Cove.
