BASICALLY… this is a tiny store with a few items that represent or literally say«Halifax» or «Nova Scotia» on them. It’s small, it’s pricey, but its there for the tourist needs.

This is a store thats perfectly positioned for the summertime tourist attack. As the waterfront is one of the must bustling spots for city visitors, the Nova Scotia Store offers the easy convenience of material sentimentality. Trinkets of all sorts, apparel, postcards and more are stocked to the max in all the NS labels and themes you can think of. Tartans, puffins, Celtic tributes… its all the stuff that we, Maritimers, are known for. As Alice Peozeki once wisely stated. «You gotta give the girlies what they want.» In this case, its the visitors looking for a way to remember their 2 hour stop on the cruise. Toy lobsters and t-shirts by the dozen! There is a little something for every price range, so why not!

Nova Scotia Store is located near the ferry terminal in Halifax. NS store is just that all NS. If you are interested in purchasing some souvenirs from this lovely place then this is the spot. Anything from T-shirts to sweaters and even some hats. Magnets and postcards as well as some keys chains all with the NS symbol in it or something to do with lobsters. Prices range anywhere from $ 5 to $ 15 for a small gift or you can purchase a sweatshirt for $ 25.
