You can always count on this convenience location because at Needs, time is on your side. Open 24/7, this is a spot to quench late night munchies, a spritzy sip or maybe grab a few necessities that cannot wait until morning. We’ve all been there, and when it all comes down to it, Needs is a good spot to have around. A clean and lively location. this place has no fuss service and a sure spectrum of the packaged treat variety. Slushies, muffins, a few bundles of fruit are thrown in for good measure, and its the perfect place for a guilty pleasure at any hour.

I really like wandering to this Needs in the wee hours of the morning. During my last visit I procured some orange/banana/strawberry juice and some mineral water to make fizzy bevies. Yum! Their freezer section is stocked if you’re looking for a late night pizza pocket binge, or alternatively, grab yourself a Mr. Noodles and do something you’ll regret in the morning. And let’s not forget their pretty radical fireworks selection. You can get a pack of fun for thirty bones then hit the commons for a blast of a time. The workers here are usually characters and the current late night guy is quite nice. We had a little political gab during my last visit, which I found most amusing, mostly because he was pretty wry and straight faced. All in all, this Needs has got your needs covered(see that? just playing with words a little). Get buzzed in late at night and grab yourself some chocolate bars and slushies!

If you are ever in the need for a good one stop basic shop go to needs on the corner of Windsor and Chebucto. I happened to stop in there this morning or batteries so that I could take some pics, when I came across Terry behind the counter. General chit chat lead Terry helping me with my camera and helping be discover why it was eating so many batteries. Not only does Needs have your basic items for OHMY I am out of that and it is 2am but it always has Terry, who is a get employee ready and able to help his customers. With service like that I will make sure that I continue to go back and get my Diet Coke and all the other items that I need. Thanks again for the good advice.

This is a solid little Needs. The staff is generally friendly, they have all the Convenience store stock you could need and they also have Slushys for those of you who like a little brain freeze! Last night was in this store looking for Skittles before I took off to the cultural event of the year(don’t ask). Would you believe this was the third store I was in, and neither of the previous two had skittles in a red package?! I was horrified there was some sort of shortage! Luckily my fears were curbed when I entered Needs and saw a plethora of bags. When I brought the bag to the counter the clerk was especially stoked at my choice. «Skittles?! Woaaaaaaaaah excellent choice!» he exclaimed. It was a little weird, but very nice of him and we had a laugh about how red package Skittles are heads and tails the best. He was friendly and fast and I could not have asked for more. What more can I say? It’s a convenience store! You know the name of this game! My only problem with this place is the buzzer entry system. It means you will on occasion spend a little time waiting in the cold, which is frustrating. It also gives people a bad impression of the neighborhood, which is never a good thing and not really fair. Despite this, for the most part, Needs will almost always have you covered. If the grocery store is closed, this is your next best bet for the late night snack run!

I have to say this Needs is a hit and miss with the staff. Sometimes I wonder how people get jobs in the Customer Service industry. The store itself is a great location though. And the safety feature of the buzzer is good. They also have an ATM in there. You should be able to find everything you need here. They have donuts as well, that makes up for the lack of smiles from behind the counter.

Its Convenient! This particular Needs Convenience store is one of the nicer ones. The staff are friendly and its in a good area of town. For my American friends out there, Needs Convenience is like a 7 – 11 store. It has magazines, food, drinks, cleaning supplies, snacks, candy, and a bunch of other last minute items we always forget to grab at the grocery store. This Needs has a buzzer system which is great because I actually worked at this particular store over ten years ago. And there was late night crime even way back then! So it hasn’t improved as far as the robberies go. But there have never been incredibly scarey crimes occur that I know of. The prices here are actually quite decent depending on what you are looking for. They can even be cheaper than some other local convenient stores in the neighborhood. So its worth checking out. For a convenience store, this one has very friendly staff! The store layout is well done so its easy to know where to find what you are looking for. The size is pretty good and variety of items to choose, not so bad. If you need some last minute items, this is definitely one of the better Needs stores to go to.
