When into McDonald’s today and I ordered a couple of different things and you would think different order should be in different boxes but they weren’t I want to ask you to change it she touched it with her hand no gloves after she touch the cash till after she touch the counter and then she lied to me and told me she used tongs, when I clearly saw her do it. she’s a manager or but she told me she was a manager so OK. I get home to find out there’s no syrup for my pancakes there are no straws for the drinks there’s no salt Pepper nothing in for condiments but I was sure that would be pancake syrup it in with my pancakes don’t they serve that with pancakes just curious they were inconsiderate and rude I had asked them if they were on drugs because how many times can you messed up one person’s order this is 4 mistakes that I’ve had in the last five visits with them over the past three months I will not go back to Kempt road except for them to fix this order I won’t do it I don’t want people touching my food who knows what they do they might do scratch their ass last. Not only that the cash till is the dirtiest thing. And I don’t appreciate being lied straight to my face when I clearly saw what they did to me. Please don’t go here!

The good McDonald’s of Halifax(if you can consider fast food good, that is). Always clean, friendly and I have yet to have someone mess up my order. Fries are always on point. The store itself is up to date. Quinpool Mickey’s could sure take a leaf out of their book.

Hmm, I see from Adam’s review that not much has changed at this location. I love Happy Meals. We usually go to the McD’s on Lacewood as it is closer to home. We also usually get drive-through because I don’t enjoy sitting in loud, cold, over-bright«restaurants» in uncomfortable seats with the fryers beeping away. But Mike was like«They’ve renovated! Let’s go in!» So we did. Biiiig mistake. Loud, cold, over-bright, uncomfortable seats and the fryers were beeping away. Add to that the noisy staff. When we first walked in I thought there was a party being held here. Nope, just the cashiers and cooks gossipping loudly enough for the entire place to hear. The young woman who took our order was so uninterested I wanted to leave then and there. Our food took forever even though it wasn’t busy. I watched the cashier *toss* my little bag of fries into the Happy Meal box; when I opened it there were more scattered around the burger than in the bag. Plus they were almost cold. I know it’s only a McDonald’s, but if they can’t provide hot food in a reasonable amount of time for a fast food joint, I don’t know how they’ve managed to remain in business this long.

Yes, we all know that McDonald’s is the cause of a lot of clogged arteries. But, every now and then, it’s the easiest solution to the late-night hunger of the lazy. So let’s save the shame-inducing looks and Super Size Me recommendations for another time, k? This McDonald’s location is earning my first one-star review on Unilocal and for good reason. I typically use the drive-thru at McDonald’s(no one needs to see me eating this stuff in public) and I can’t remember ever having to not wait for a significant amount of time at this location. I went through the drive-thru tonight and the wait was at least 10 – 15 minutes and not once did they ask a customer to park in the designated waiting zone so that other customers could pay/receive their orders. Including myself, there was a line up of six cars at this location. At 9 pm, that seems a bit ridiculous and I don’t think it has as much to do with poor eating habits in Halifax as it does with poor service. I would actually be fine with the wait, if it was because they were busy cooking the food. But most of the time, the food comes out cold and hard as a rock, as if it had been prepared that morning. So it seems obvious the wait is the result of inept and slow employees. Why do I come back to this location, if it’s so utterly horrible? Because it’s so very close to where I live and I’m somehow able to convince myself that the wait isn’t *that* bad and the food isn’t *that* poorly cooked. Mostly, this review is meant to serve as a reminder to myself that yes… yes, it is.
