I came here solely because it was a donation entrance fee… figured for some pocket change it would be a good time killer on a misty day.
This place is NEAT! It is a collection of various navy memorabilia from current to early 1900’s.
Great collection of wooden replica boats, military shells, military awards to lighters… and more!
While I was there, they were working on a display of WRCN (woman in the Royal Canadian Navy)
If you are a military buff, you will surely enjoy this…
If you are a history freak, this place is for you as well.
Parking is a little tight due to you are on a military base… so make sure you got a clear record to get in!
Staff was quite knowledgeable.
Oh and as for me, I’m an architecture nut… the building is absolutely stunning!
If I got the time I’m returning to this place just to sit and absorb it all again!
