Little Jo’s Pizza and Donair

You want to try their donair’s! They make the best you will ever have.

Tucked away in one of the many strip malls along Sackville Drive, this really is an unexpected gem of a shop. The staff, including Joe himself, are extremely friendly, and really give the place a lot of character. Of course, it helps that the food is very tasty as well.
I’ll admit that I’m not a huge fan of the pizza myself (feels weird to say, considering they are primarily a pizza-​making establishment and I just gave them four stars, but meh). However, I know a lot of people who rave about it, and to be fair, I’m a bit of a diva when it comes to my pizza.
Lucky for me, there are the nachos. My feelings toward them can be summed up in one word… er, sound: Mmmmmmmmmmm! I can’t even think about them without salivating; they make my mouth happy. With enough cheese to feed a small village layered throughout all of the chips, and chock full of the other ingredients you would expect to find (but will be happy to know they definitely don’t skimp on), they are hands down some of the best nachos I have ever had. Which really surprised me at first, since I don’t find that a lot of pizza joints put very much effort at all into their nachos (and it shows in the lack of flavour and minimal ingredients). Which only makes me appreciate Little Joe’s all the more. Also, they are HUGE, so you might either want to ask for a half-​order or plan on sharing with friends. Or a small village. Either way, you’ll be making some people very happy.
Aside from the glorious nachos (*pauses to wipe the drool off her chin*), they make a mean garlic bread with cheeese and caesar salad (with or without chicken), which incidently go together smashingly. Their subs are quite tasty as well, again I think because they are so generous with the ingredients.
Price wise they are very affordable. In most cases you can get an extra large pizza for $ 20 or less, which is an excellent deal.
