Up against much larger and well know thrift stores, I consider this place a gem in the rough. I’m not your typical ‘pay-almost-full-price for«gently-used goods“‘ girl, and I don’t shop at Value Village because I don’t feel they give enough back to the community. This is one of those stores you not only feel as though you’re giving back to the community, you can see the charity at work. Entirely volunteer run, you get that good-giving-back feeling when you approach the worn cash and watch your tax-free finds enter those crinkled, donated, reused grocery bags. While this place may be small, check out the back room for a hoarders paradise of thrifty mis-matched dishes, cutlery and kitchen tools, small appliances, toys and sporting goods. When I leave, I only ever wish I could stay, digging for treasure longer.
