History
Established in 2003.
I started my business in 2003 because of my love of organizing. I wanted to help people get and stay organized too by offering a variety of services including general decluttering, space planning, design, decorating, small renovation project management, move organizing in the home, and time and task management with small business owners. In January 2016, still continuing to give my clients the best service, I changed the business name to Get Organized by Design.

I’ve been working as a Professional Organizer for more than a decade, but for me it’s more than just a job. Organizing is my passion. When I started my business in 2003, Get Organized! Professional Services was the only hands-on organizing business in Atlantic Canada. In January 2016 the business name changed to Get Organized by Design.
In my quest to become a true leader in my profession, I received my Certified Professional Organizer® designation in January of 2008 after a rigorous 2-hour exam and reaching a minimum number of hours of work experience. I remain one of less than ten in Canada who have reached this goal. I am required to complete a minimum number of continuing education credits and re-certify every three years. You can be certain I am always learning in order to provide you with the best service possible.
