Finer Things Antiques & Curios

I just went here for the first time! I did not buy anything but only because I was overwhelmed by all of the awesomeness!
I can say for sure if you are in the market for some unique and cool stuff, you should definitely check out this great spot! I am just reassessing my apartment in what I could use, and then head back to find them!
It is a little more expensive than some other antique places but that is due to quality of the items in it! So many gems! They could be yours!

Finer Things is one of the best antique stores I’ve been to in a long time. They are always stocked full of neat goodies and their prices are very reasonable. I’ve found many treasures here, including a costume necklace I wore in my wedding. I’ve also sold antiques to them (old Christmas decorations and furniture from cleaning an old garage).
The store is in the bottom of a house and as you wander from room to room you get the feeling of being in someone’s private home; looking through treasures with their helpful staff and owners providing insight and stories behind the pieces they have. It’s truly an enjoyable experience to treasure hunt at Finer Things!

This is my favourite antiques store in Halifax, and I’ll tell you why. Selection, organization, prices.
There’s such a good range of desirable objects in this store that I never get tired of poking around, and no matter your interest, from vintage to antique, I think you’d find something intriguing here.
I love the way the store is organized: it’s the perfect mid-​point between jumbled-​up junk shop and super organized and intimidating high end antique store. It’s got a string of small rooms and nooks and crannies, each one with a slight theme, and each one full of lovely things.
And, finally, the prices are absolutely fair — not bargain basement but not inflated.
I’ve never left this store without something beautiful to add to one of my collections!

Finer Things Antiques certainly catches your eye on Agricola St. They usually have a great display window to draw you in.
I like Antique stores, but this one is above some others, things are not so cluttered here. Antiques are wonderful, I especially love the jewellery. They all have a history, sometimes you get to know it, sometimes you don’t.
But you can buy it and create your own history.
The staff here actually allows you to look, the engage in conversation, but are not pushy.
