Elite Event- A Night at the Theatre

We don’t get to the theatre often so I thought we’d attend this event just to spread our wings a bit. A delightful change from traditional theatre, we were kept entertained by Zuppa’s «Uncle Oscar’s Experiment». A talented troupe of actors presenting a great mix of comedy, drama, music and dance, in one act, in one hour. I liked the intimate atmosphere of the theatre in the Fort Massey church.
The reception before hand was a real winner. You absolutely can’t go wrong with good, fresh, local food. Norbert’s Good Food from Selwood Green Farms it top notch. Plate after plate of delectable bites kept coming. No way I could choose a favourite. I mean how can you go wrong with local bread & vegetables topped with local cranberries, meat & cheese. From the kale chips & fresh salsa to the eggplant crostini, there were no fails.
Thanks Shannon for another enjoyable evening of good food, good theatre & good company. Can’t wait to see what you come up with next!

What an awesome night! The food was sooooooo good. All local, fresh and all that jazz. Shannon & Findlay are awesome for putting together a great night! Delicious bubbling peach drink, indulgent yukon potatoes with cheese and bacon, and last but not least an amazing show put on by Zuppa — Uncle Oscars Experiment!
Thoroughly entertaining with a few laughs. Awesome night!

Such a great little event!
All the snacks were fresh and delicious — the potatoes with bacon, leeks and cheese; eggplant, pesto, and you guessed it, cheese; to the tiny little kiwis that were avoided until I gave the mysterious green fruit a go.
Zuppa’s performance was fantastic; energetic, catchy and just all around entertaining!

I love theatre! I’ve heard a lot about Zuppa Theatre from a friend, but I’ve never been to any of their productions. I’m glad I got to share my first time with some Unilocalpers!
Uncle Oscars Experiment was awesome! The performers were incredibility talented in every way possible; between the choreography, lighting, chemistry with each other, the catching tunes and emotion enticing music it was so good I was left with chills a few times! The story line itself was creative, interesting and humorous. I plan on attending future Zuppa productions, 100%!
To start off an evening of great entertainment, of course we got to enjoy some deliciously amazing snacks from Selwood Green! What an amazing caterer! He kept bringing out concoction after concoction of his taste-​bud-​pleasing creations. From squash boats topped with Gouda, cranberries and walnuts to kale chips; I tried each dish about 3 times — not kidding!
