You wont find anything cheaper in Halifax… if you only have a few bucks, and dont care about quality, go for it.

These guys have become my go-to for non-gourmet pizza in metro. The quality is very good and prices of their specials un-touchable. A large, 5-topping pizza is $ 10.49. Tip: if you are bringing one of their pies home, open the box on the way there. Their boxes don’t vent well and the heat of the fresh pie will make the box, hot and moist which in turn gives you a mushy crust. It will still be plenty hot when you get the pie home.

The only place I get pizza from anymore. Tastes great and the best prices in the city. $ 5.50 for a medium garlic fingers! And the staff are awesome! I usually just do pick up… there is a small parking lot on North St or street parking on Maynard.

I’m looking for the best Pizza business in Halifax and tonight I called Donnini’s. 5 topping 16″ Pizza was an excellent value. Lot’s of toppings, plenty of cheese. Garlic fingers taste great and also had plenty of cheese. Delivery person was very friendly. Donnini’s is great, definitely get your pizza there, I was impressed!

I was away in New Hampshire when I received a text from my fiancé telling me that he had ordered from a great new pizza place that night. He said the price was really good and that I had to try it when I got home. Fast forward a few days and we are watching Sunday football, too lazy to cook or go anywhere for supper. Cue Donnini’s. The first thing to love, as noted above, is the price. It was under $ 20 for two large pizzas with 5 toppings each. His was loaded with meat, mine with veggies. Second, it arrived amazingly quick, which worked for us as we were starving. Third, when you open the box and look inside, you see that the toppings go right to the edge of the pizza! They are evenly distributed and plentiful. The crust wasn’t what most would consider fantastic(soft and really doughy) but it was exactly how I like mine. Add a nice thick layer of gooey, melty cheese and it exemplified pretty much my idea of a perfect slice. I have ordered a lot of pizza in this city. I am really surprised that I had never heard of Donnini’s before. Thanks to my fiancé’s unwillingness to cook for himself while I was away and a fateful Unilocal search, I have found my new pizza joint. Fast, filling, and priced right, I would not hesitate to recommend Donnini’s when you are looking for a new joint to spice up your pizza rotation.

The food is INSANELY affordable here, it’s crazy how they can charge $ 9.99 for a large pizza with five toppings. The food is also very delicious, certainly within my top five favourite places to get pizza from in Halifax. Their garlic fingers and donairs are also VERY good. Service is excellent. Staff members are friendly and patient over the phone, they don’t rush you at all. Delivery speeds are also very fast, 30 – 40 minutes in most cases. There is a delivery charge but, considering how much food you can get for a low price, it hardly matters in the end. A+ pizza place. Doesn’t really have any parking due to being on North Street, but I’m sure people dropping in can figure something out.

I’ve ordered delivery & I’ve also picked up. They have fast service, their pizza is pretty good in size, and the donair is On-Top! Everything is fresh & dough is soft. Also, they have a large pizza with 5 toppings for $ 10 ! Caaaaan’t beat that anywhere & they don’t ever screw up!

Hidden gem because it’s the best the quality/quantity pizza for the price. If you’re picking up, 11.50 for a Large !

My husband and I are on a mission to try some good pizza places in Halifax. We couldn’t believe the price at Donnini’s. It was a bit tricky to find the place because it’s hidden behind a convenience store on the busy North street. We ordered a 2 regular Donairs and a 16″ pizza, the total amount was equal to a pizza alone elsewhere. We had 5 toppings on our pie and they filled it all the way to the edge, leaving very little crust. My only compliant would be about their dough, not the best I’ve tasted, lacking the handmade/hand-knead chewiness to it.

I really enjoy their pizza. And an added bonus is the laundry facility they have, so you can do your laundry and grab a bite to eat while you wait till your laundry is done. And the prices are awesome to. The down side is the limited menu. But non the less a great place for take-out on the go

I usually go in for a slice but I will start ordering entire pizzas soon. This place looks shady but has some of the best pizza in town. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover because if you are in the North End and want a nice slice of pizza this is the place you want to go. Very reasonable prices and excellent staff and food.

In the back of a seemingly sketchy convenience store laundromat, Donnini’s pizza is surprisingly great! My family loves a good deal, who doesn’t? My brother came home with a flyer from these guys and oh boy, of course we were going to try it! We’ve ordered twice, once we got the donairs and a few nights ago we got a pizza. The pizza is easily as good as any other pizza you’d find in Halifax, they PACK the toppings on and the crust was cooked perfectly. You get a large 5 topping pizza for $ 9.99! How awesome is that?! The donair I had the first time was awesome as well. You get 2 regulars for $ 7.49. They’re slightly smaller than usual but 2 regulars easily equal a large elsewhere. The meat is a little spicier than usual but I really like that, sauce is great and they add lots of it!

Stopped for a slice on the way home. Very good and will definitely be getting my pizza here. Only negative is that is on a very busy street

I knew it was bad news when I moved super close to a take-out joint! I didn’t realize how bad it would be until I checked out Donnini’s price menu. It’s insane; insanely good. They have a super deal menu with items like… a large pizza for $ 8.99… insane right? I’m obsessed with their donairs and donair pizza. They’re delicious; the donairs are way bigger then you’d expect for under $ 6.00 — and if you don’t eat all of your pizza, it tastes almost better reheated in the oven the next day. I think I’ve tried it all from their poutine to hamburgers — no complaints! The staff are super friendly and personable; keeps me going back for more. Oh, and did I mention their prices are insanely awesome? They are!

I found this spot when i got their nifty super deals menu in my mailbox. man what a surprise this place is fantastic! the owner takes a lot of care in making sure that everything is right and that your food arrives on time, and if it doesn’t he has a habit of calling you personally to apologize and making things right! This is your regular mom and pops pizza business with a little bit of extra added care to cutomer service!
