First of all, thank you Unilocal!Second of all, thank you all the reviewers! I did not regret Unilocaling for tire change. They provided me taxi chits for the fares of getting to work and get back for my car. I did not have to worry about a thing, get in get out, done.

Great people to deal with they know what they are talking about and give you no BS, when it comes to the needed repairs to your car. They are going to get my business when it comes to the repairs to me car.

I have read the reviews, so I went there to have my winter tires on.
They were kind and professional.
They did the job on time!

$ 823 later and my interior needs to be detailed. I sent the car in for routine maintenance work and safety. It was completed as expected however what was unexpected was that my door panel would be strained with grease from the technician. Some garages take the care to wash your car when you bring it in. These guys seem to dirty it. If you’re driving a beater and can’t fix the issue take it here if you care about your car and the condition of more than just the mechanical take your’re business elsewhere.
Note: they did offer to clean up the mess however I’ll take care of it myself if they couldn’t be bothered to take care the first time I don’t trust them to correct the issue the second time around.

One tire + one random nail = flat unfixable tire.

What’s a driver to do with a tire with a slow leak and the knowledge that it can’t be fixed and the need to purchase a new tire is in your near future?
Hit up Unilocal of course.
Coast Tires comes up and after reading a few of the reviews I give them a call. It didn’t hurt that this place was barely a stone’s throw away from where I live but location is not the only reason I am giving this place 4 stars.
I call to inquire about tires and the person on the other end gives me some of the best customer service I received in a long time. He tells me that if I want to get tires that day it would cost $XXX.xx amount but since it was a slow leak I could probably wait until tomorrow and he’d order another brand of tire just as good but come in almost $ 70 cheaper.
He then proceeds to ask if I have a spare and if I wanted to swing by they would just swap out the slow leaking tire for the spare until I came back the next day.
I go in that same day, wait about 10 minutes (they literally stopped what they were doing and put my Dusty up on the lift) and before I know it my spare is on and there wasn’t a charge for the service.
I go in the next day and in about 45 minutes I drive away with two new tires, some excellent customer service and a new place for all my automotive needs.

So I recently bought a car. I’m not much of a driver, but my husband moved away (temporarily — all OK) with ours and my family is hours away, so we thought it would be a good idea. Just not so good an idea that we wanted to put any money into it. I spent so little on this car I’m embarassed to admit it.
So naturally, less than a month in, the exhaust system goes, and you can hear me and my little blue beast on the other side of the city. Yet, early repar estimates were approaching ¹⁄₃ of the cost of the dang* car.
What is a girl to do?
This girl took to the internet. Posting quesitons on Twitter & Facebook and searching reviews on Unilocal led me to Coast Tire. They were awesome. They explained the work needed, cost and relative risk considering the age of the car. Not only was their price lower, but when I picked the car up at the end of the day, they had saved me money by doscovering some (small) parts could be reused.
Overall, my ride is back looking and sounding as cool as it can considering the rear driver’s side door doesn’t quite match the rest of the paintjob.
*Not the word I was using at the time.

Love this place — staff is very friendly and accommodating. They drive me to work or home if my car needs to stay for servicing. I especially like Myril — the guy has been working there for over 40 years and knows his stuff — very easygoing and fun! I find they don’t push repairs that can wait for a bit but are upfront on what needs to be done.

I was told the car was as good as new, three days later the engine light came on. I took the car to another shop, I was told the work that was done was unnecessary. I spent over 700 $, when all I needed was a minor repair.

Since this location of Coast Tire is just up the street from my office, it is super convenient for me. I can just drop it off in the morning for my oil change, MVI, tire change, or repair, and pick it up on my way home after work. I can usually call for an appointment the next day without issue, and they’ll tell you how much it will cost — no surprises (unless of course something comes up). The prices are reasonable, and I’ve had no problems with their service at all.

Excellent customer service and high quality work earn this Coast Tire location an easy 5 stars in my book. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and willing to answer any questions I have. The also seem very knowledgeable about their work, with which I have never been dissatisfied. I head to this location for everything related to my car: tire changes, yearly inspections, repairs, etc., and I have complete confidence in their abilities.
My dad has been a customer for many years as well, and just to show how well they treat their repeat clients, because he has been taking his vehicles there for so long, they often will go out of their way to give him a break on his bill (not charging for all the labour, etc.).
Price-​wise they are about on par with other garages, but the quality of their customer service and workmanship vastly surpasses other similar businesses I have patronized in the past, so they are definitely worth my money.

A great place to buy tires! I purchased a set of all seasons last year from Coast Tire. I work really close to this location so every so often, I drop off the car, walk to work so I can get my tires rotated.
They always fit me in, and do a great job. They are really friendly and my tires were a lot cheaper than others.
I also get my MVI done there — they treat me really well.
