Never come here. Just … don’t. The dearth of decent places to eat in Bayers Lake continues. I haven’t been to A&W in many years, but Mike wanted me to give them a try again. Big mistake. First, this location is tiny. Very little seating. Second, they encourage customers to leave their trays *on the tables* until staff can get around to cleaning up. In theory, this is so staff can properly sort the trash. In practice, it means empty tables are left piled with garbage while you’re searching for a place to sit. Floors were dirty. There were squished french fries under the tables. The only ketchup dispenser was disgusting and empty anyway. We had a long wait for our«fast» food even though we beat the supper rush. The food itself? Utterly bland burger. Utterly limp fries. They tasted and felt like they had been fried in oil that wasn’t hot enough. I couldn’t eat them. Horrible experience all around. Wild horses couldn’t drag me back to this place.

Largely basing my review on their breakfasts but I do like their burgers too. When it comes to burger chains A&W are a little pricer but head and shoulders above the competition. Their breakfasts are of the heart– stopping variety but you can get your eggs to order and the bacon looks like it is actually from a pig and not something that is «almost, but not quite, something entirely unlike» bacon that you’d get at another fast food place. As a plus, you get served on a plate with a real fork and knife. I am also a sucker for their sweet potato fries and chipolte mayo. They are a close rival to hand cut ones. If you are in the park early or hankering for a burger and want a quicker, less expensive option from Flipburger try A&W.

Going to A&W takes me back to when I was a kid and they were the first franchise to open in the Moncton area. I really like the spice they use on the burgers and the root beer, yummy. This location is on the small side buy a full restaurant. It always seems clean and well staffed. great place to go for a quick burger or breakfast when in BLBP.

I enjoy stopping at A&W when I’m in a hurry or if I’m craving a quick burger. I usually get the Teen Burger as I love what they dress the burger in. There is something about the way they taste… ummmm. I despise their onion rings. They do not even taste like onion rings. They have this think, flacky batter that has a terrible taste. Each onion ring is far too big. I love their Root Beer Floats! That’s a great treat on a hot summers day when I’m looking for a refreshing, cold treat. They have great, fast service at this location. You’re in and out of the drive thru in minutes.

A & W seems to get the back seat when we are out, but when we go there, we always enjoy it and say, mmm, good. They have great fries and their chicken burgers are the best. Their Root Beer, well you just have to try it, we love it, and to get it in the chilled glass, just try it, or get the root-beer float. mmmm good. The food is always hot and the service is great. I remember when they use to have the drive in A & W’s. That was Cool!
