Business Owner

Being in the restaurant business since a young age, both Maria and Sumon learned about the food and beverage industry to the point that they were interested in coming together and creating this Mediterranean Bistro. Everyday is a different day, but their goal is to please their customers. They want their customers coming and enjoying themselves through the atmosphere they created to their unforgettable meals. They hope that everyone will come out and give them a chance.

Oh that’s another Jimmy the Greek… no sorry my friends. you are WRONG. This is high end Mediterranean food. I must have dined here over half dozen times now and what makes a great restaurant is the consistency of the food. It’s always delicious. Must try the chicken souvlaki to win you over then be more adventurous and try the bouzouki fries, octopus with bread (really delicious) and pretty much every else off the menu. Maria is a great host and manager. You have to try this place. Don’t get confused with «La» Cucina… this location in a plaza on Kortright.

This is the best spot in Guelph. Whether you want breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the food is always amazing and the service is perfect. I have tried most everything on the menu and never once did I taste something that was sub par.
The atmosphere at cuisina is perfect for a romantic night out or a function with friends. The owner and staff are always friendly, smiling and accommodating. They make the experience of eating the amazing food even better!
I can’t give cuisina enough praise. Check this spot out It is a staple of Guelph!

If you want some good Greek cuisine in Guelph, this is the place to go. I have gone 4 times (1 take out) and each time left me satisfied.
Things I’ve eaten:
— chicken souvlaki (comes with rice/​potatoes, salad)
— spanakopita, tiropitakia
— salmon
All of the above definitely hit the spot for me :)

Nice ambience… Good food. The saganaki was excellent, better than I had in Greece. The Parmesan Chicken was tasty, although I have had better.
I had them replace the fettuccine with a Greek salad. WARNING: if you are one of those (like me) who expect Greek salad to be mostly cucumbers, tomatoes and onions, you will be disappointed as this was mostly lettuce. It tasted fine but I was not really expecting semi-​wilted lettuce as the base for a Greek salad. They also charged for the substitution but didn’t tell me.
Verdict: I would definitely come back but I expect this is one of those restaurants that does some things well and other dishes not so well. You just have to find out what their specialties are.

Fabulous, FABULOUS food! I can’t recommend this place highly enough. The staff is wonderful and attentive and the owner is an amazing and friendly lady. Just the SMELL of the place as you walk in makes your mouth water. Everything that I have ever tried there is absolutely delicious. Please give this place a try! It is, hands down, one of my favourite restaurants in Guelph

Not only is the food amazing and varied and absolutely delicious and plentiful, the owner and staff makes everyone welcome. Each time I’ve been, there have been singles eating alone, couples, small groups and occasionally larger groups, everyone enjoying the ambiance and getting served quickly. A quick look around the room and you can tell everyone is enjoying whatever they’ve ordered. Give these folks a try. They are not expensive! And the food you can’t finish tastes divine the next day.
