All Strung Out Fine Yarns

I went in today to see if I could find some locally made yarn. I’ve never been in the store and I was excited. When I went in there were several ladies talking away at the back and nobody acknowledged that I was there. Not a «Hello» «Can I help you find something?» Nothing. A couple other ladies came in and you could tell they were regular customers. «How are you? What have you been up to?» And other chatter ensued. I walked around looking and feeling the yarn. It was beautiful and soft and a nice variety. The ladies sitting at the table were leaping at the opportunity to help their friend who came in. I was still unsure about what I was looking for and walked through the store again. Once again, not an acknowledgement, nothing. So I left. Which was a shame. I was interested in purchasing, but not from someone who doesn’t make the effort to extend a greeting to a potential customer.
Won’t be back again.
