Every May long weekend, the town of Gravenhurst gathers. Not for fireworks or Bön fires, but for the opening of Shelby’s Chip Wagon.
This fry truck puts all others to shame. Insanely generous servings for amazingly low prices.
Sherry, the owner, operates at a very fast pace, but don’t be intimidated. She isn’t a soup nazi. But it is best to know what you want before grabbing her attention so she can keep the pace.
This is a must when in Gravenhurst. You’re welcome… And I’m sorry. This will be your new addiction.
Man the winters get long without this place.
