Not as good as the Growling Gator, but the burgers are good(and not offered at the Gator) — and sitting by the HUGE oak tree is fun!

My girlfriend and I went here for lunch, the Restraunt was not busy, there was only one other table with 3 customers and out waitress had to come back and ask is questions about our order, when my gf got her lunch she found a hair in her meal, our waitress ASKED if she would like her to take it back to the kitchen, one would think she would have just taken it back with out asking, she did not order the same dish again, she got something else and when it was ready the cool brought it out with fries and our waitress took it back and removed the fries! Like really. Then when we got the bill, she said«I didn’t charge you for the dish with the hair in it» like no shit you didn’t charge is for it, poor customer service, will never go back to this shot hole. I had a hamburger which was tough, the patty was the size of a patty from McDonald’s, it was a joke, and then to charge 12 $ for it, the fries are frozen from a package, I swear they were McCain fries, crap all around. Stay away!

My wife and I stopped by J Dee’s summer house after a day at Pinary provincial park. I heard they had great homemade burgers but I was quite surprised, these were AMAZING burgers, the best I’ve had anywhere. Very juicy and flavourful. I ordered the T-burg and my wife ordered the special of the day, which was a mushroom and cheese burger. The service was good and the patio where we ate was comfortable and relaxing. It’s behind the building and surrounded by wood fence so you are separated from the activity on the strip. We will definitely stop by again.

I was down in Grand Bend over the long weekend and found myself in need of some food, so me and the old lady walked up the strip looking for a good place to stop for a quick bite. We happened to stumble upon J Dee’s Summer House, We walked in and were greated right away with the choice to sit out back in the shaded patio or in the dining area. We chose the dining area because we had been out in the sun all day and thought it would be nice to sit inside, lol. The restaurant itself was very clean, the tables, floors, etc all very clean for being in such a busy place. We sat down and I ordered the Classic Burger, which came done to perfection, and with a fresh ciabatta bun to top it all off! Mmm. The fries were also amazing, I don’t think I’ve EVER had such think cut fries but they were soo good, and crispy too. My better half ordered the club sandwich or something like that? lol but it was really big and tasted great as well, she also got a greek salad with it which they make homemade! The service was pretty good when we stopped in although they weren’t too busy at the time, The food was prepared very quickly as well and you could tell it was all fresh. I would definatly return again when I’m in the bend for a nice juicy burger, The only downside is it is a little pricey but it’s located right on the main strip so that’s understandable.
