History

Established in 2012.

George has been in the image-​making business in his hometown of Goderich for more than 25 years. His passion for this art form started in the darkroom where he spent many hours hand developing his negatives and prints. He loved how he could turn an average photograph into a unique work of art. His art work now hangs in homes around the globe.

Today he works in a digital darkroom. George studied multi-​media design at Fanshawe College where he learned the amazing power that Adobe Photoshop has to offer. Now he is ready to help other people who have Photoshop to feel comfortable with this program, how to use more tools and how to get those special effects that Photoshop has to offer.

In 2007 George updated to the digital age by going back to Fanshawe College to take Multi-​Media

courses. In the FILM DAYS, George would paint and scratch images on the 35 mm emulsion side and

print the results. The eDarkroom is where George spends his most of the time now. All of the artwork on canvasses were done with a Nikon D90 camera.

May 2012, George started up his own business: Huron Image Factory. The Huron Image Factory produces videos and photos for web sites and for the walls.
