Échec et Malt invites you to discover two incredibly captivating worlds: board games and microbrewery beers.

Our hosts will accompany you through the board games rules and gladly answer all your questions during play. Come have fun at a table for many hours for only $ 5 (hosting fee).

Our waiters and waitresses are ready to provide information and to recommend the beers that will delight your palate. In addition, satisfy your appetite with our selection of appetizers and meals. You do not drink alcohol? No worries, we also serve coffee (filter, espresso or latte), tea, juice and soft drinks.

You want only a meal and drink? Come right in! The game-​hosting fee only applies if you play. Because a good conversation is always free!

We are THE location in the Outaouais region for fun times and memorable evenings.

Established in 2014.

This project started with two passions; the boardgames and crafts beers. We’ve joined both for more fun and good times!
